Healing Hearts offers an array of services appropriate for the individual needs of each family, ranging from supervised exchange (our office serves as a neutral location for visitation pick-up and drop-off) to educational visitation  (in which a counselor coaches parents regarding new skills with their children). Healing Hearts will provide an orientation session for all clients to assist then in understanding the visitation  arrangements and their respective roles in visitation.

In addition to visitation supervision, Healing Hearts provides individual counseling or group counseling for both custodial and non-custodial parents as well as group counseling for children and adolescents.

Supervised Visitation

Supervised visitation is an opportunity for parents and children to develop, strengthen and maintain positive relationships. In a supervised, safe environment parents learn new behaviors and skills, establish and communicate positive affection for their children, and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere with toys and games that are appropriate for the age of their children.

The Facility

Located in the serene 250 acre Joe Palaia Park in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, the Healing Hearts program provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for visitation. A room specifically designed for young children and their parents is equipped with developmentally appropriate toys and games for children of all ages. A second visitation room is suitable for older children and adolescents. Both rooms are equipped with closed circuit video monitoring in order to provide for unobtrusive observation.
